Cameron Massey was born and raised in the Upstate of South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University, along with a minor in Forest Resource Management. He went on to complete a Master of Science in Forestry at NC State University, where his work centered on optimizing timberland value.
Cameron began his career in the forestry field, gaining hands-on experience cruising and appraising timber tracts, preparing and completing timber sales, writing tree farm management plans, conducting prescribed burns, and managing large-scale pine planting projects. These experiences provided him with a strong understanding of land and timber value from both practical and analytical perspectives.
He later pursued his real estate license out of a desire to work with people and to help landowners identify opportunities to generate revenue from their land, as well as to guide clients through buying or selling property. Cameron currently serves on the South Carolina Forestry Commission’s Young Professionals Committee, contributing to outreach, networking, and the unification of professionals across the industry.
In his free time, Cameron enjoys walking family land with his wife and their two dogs—a German Shepherd and a German Wirehaired Pointer. He loves spending time outdoors, whether fishing, hunting, camping, or bird watching. Above all, Cameron and his family strive to serve the Lord in some way every day.
