Soon after Metcalf land Company was created to provide a clear focus on acreage, farms, timberland, commercial land, and recreational properties—long before land brokerage became a specialized niche.
More than fifty years later, Metcalf Land Company remains a small, family-owned business, rooted in the same values it was founded on: integrity, expertise, and lasting relationships. Steve’s deep knowledge of the Upstate South Carolina market, combined with decades of hands-on experience and trusted relationships, has allowed the company to successfully assist in the sale of thousands of acres throughout the region.
Known for earning the trust and respect of both clients and customers, Steve thrives in the challenges of complex transactions and negotiations. His passion for land, problem-solving, and uncovering opportunities others may overlook continues to drive his work, proving that even after decades in the business, there’s always another deal worth pursuing.
In his spare time, Steve enjoys working around the Campobello farm he shares with his wife, Joanne, along with their horse and two Swiss Mountain Dogs.
